Leicester City Has Confirmed The Signing Of Promising Young Winger Demarai Gray

Leicester City has finally got their man and has managed to sign Demarai Grey from Birmingham City. The Foxes tried to sign the player during the summer transfer market but did not meet the buyout clause in his contract, so it fell through. This time, around though they increased their offer to meet the 3.7 million pounds needed to activate the clause. The England under twenty-one attacker is now part of the surprise team fighting for the Premier League title.

Over the last couple of season, Gray has been an outstanding performer for Birmingham. He has helped add skill and pace to the attack, helping his team push for an automatic promotion place. The player is can play on either flank, but his preferred position is on the left. It is a place now held by Marc Albrighton in the Leicester team. If he gets to make his debate at the weekend, look for free bet offers on him to score.

Gray is a very attack minded player, having an average of 2.8 shots per game. So far this season he has not added many goals or assist. However, his movement off the ball and his willingness to put himself about on the pitch will fit in well with the Foxes philosophy. The young Englishman is still only 19 years old and will improve significantly over the coming seasons. Leicester is hoping that the young British player will have a similar impact that Deli Alli has made at Tottenham Hotspur. If he does, then they have bagged themselves a bargain, and it will help them compete for a top-four finish this season.

Leicester current good form is down to the heavy work of their attacking wingers. Riyad Mahrez has been one of the stand-out players of the season so far. He has managed to score 13 goals in the league so far and made many assists for Jamie Vardy, their star striker.

Grey will be in competition with Albrighton, who is having an excellent campaign so far. The left-sided winger has managed six assists and one goal this season. It will be a tough task for Grey to push Albrighton out of the team. He has the ability though to do it, and once he has gained enough Premier League experience, he will be a great addition.

Currently, Leicester City is only two points behind leader Arsenal in the Premier League. It is only last season that they were at the bottom, fighting for survival. They were one of the free bets favourites to go down last year.

Claudio Ranieri has done a fantastic job and must be already a certainty for manager of the season. It would be worth looking at the best free bet offers to put a punt on him winning that title.

A lot will depend on if star striker Jamie Vardy can keep his current scoring run going until the end of the season. He now has 15 league goals to his name and is the favourite to land the golden boot with many free bets sites.
